This page contains my old patches for Psi. These patches were written for Psi versions older than 0.11 (Qt3 based) and are no longer maintained. Information about patches status (commited, etc) is not updated, either).

Some patches for current Psi versions are available, too.

Auto Copy on Select 0.2

This patch allows you to copy text by just selecting it. Works in (group)chat log and incoming events/messages dialog. Does not work in editable text boxes.

This patch have been included in Psi mainline.

Enable Auto Status while DND

This patch allows you to enable Auto Status while being in DND mode. Use new checkbox on Appearance tab in Options dialog to activate.

Blink Keyboard LED

This patch will give you an option to make psi blink ScrollLock keyboard LED when there are unread incoming events.

Contact Icons at Top - for psi-psz

This patch is useful only if you're using any patch that displays something below contact in roster (for example: status messages). By default, psi aligns contact's icon vertically to the center. This patch allows you to align the icon to the top, using Align contact icons to top option on Appearance tab of Options dialog.

Emoticons Advanced Toggle - add for psi-psz

This patch is a fix to make Emoticons Advanced Toggle work properly with psi-psz. If you experience problems with disappearing emoticons in tooltips, you need this patch.

Enable <thread/> in Messages

Small patch to Iris, enables sending <thread/> element in messages.

Warning:It was my big mistake to write this patch...
Yes, it works perfectly as a patch for Iris. However, Psi sometimes generates mesages with a thread id, although it cannot really handle threads. Old, "broken" Iris prevented it for actually sending thread ids. If you apply this patch for Iris and use it together with Psi, Psi will make other clients think that it supports threads, although it does not. This behaviour is unacceptable.
Yes, I made this patch not really understanding how threads should work. So it was my mistake. Now I kindly request all people using this patch in their Psi builds to remove it.
Note: If you are writing your own application (not Psi) using Iris and you want to use threads, this patch will work for you.

Gadu-Gadu Gateway Type Fix

This patch makes Psi recognise Gadu-Gadu gateway type as definied by Jabber Registrar.

Keep Message in Auto Away Status

This patch allows you to keep your status message when Auto Away is activated. To keep your message, uncheck Auto Status Message checkbox on Appearance tab in Options dialog.

Linkify Fix

This patch fixes recognition of links in Psi. Without it, Psi is likely to highlight too long part of a text and treat it as a link.

New Character Counter

Psi's message length counter have always looked a bit like from another world. This patch makes it look the same way as account label.

New Headings GUI Resurrection

This patch restores "Small group headings in roster" GUI option.

Because software is for its users.

The feature offered by this patch was independently added to Psi mainline.

Open FileTransfer-Item Menu

This patch adds "Open" and "Open containing directory" menu items to a context menu of file-transfer-item in Transfer Manager. In addition, double click on an item works like open.

With this patch, emoticons in Event Dialog are properly quoted.
